Faith of Our Fathers

 

Perhaps you are familiar with scriptural commentaries by Darby, Henry, Lightfoot, Luther, Scofield, Wesley, and others. What about Chrysostom, Gregory, Basil, Cyril, Hilary, and John of Damascus?

Many so-called Bible scholars are unaware of the greatest body of scriptural commentaries in existence. The Nicene and Post Nicene Fathers Series edited by church historian Philip Schaff is one such example. Imagine learning from the great Biblical commentators of the 4th Century, the watershed century for the Christian Faith.
